A university required comprehensive valuation services across a diverse estate spanning 1960s buildings through to contemporary facilities. The university needed accurate insurance reinstatement cost assessments covering all campus buildings, off-campus accommodation, and contents. Additionally they also required their land and buildings valued for financial reporting purposes.
We conducted full inspections of every building including educational facilities, student accommodation, sports centres, and specialist properties across main campus and satellite sites. The real challenge lay in the different use of the assets and therefore varying the type of valuation required.
We successfully delivered accurate valuations meeting all reporting deadlines and auditor requirements, ensuring appropriate insurance cover whilst presenting compliant asset valuations in annual accounts.
