Case Support Assistant

To undertake basic work for the personal insolvency team, including statutory filings and supporting new work applications

Key Functions:

  • Assisting the Personal Insolvency Team with the following:
  • Preparation of statutory paperwork and other legal documents
  • Drafting correspondence to creditors and other interested parties on request
  • General support to management as required.
  • Processing invoices for payment
  • Carrying out income/expenditure assessments on cases
  • Merging & sending standard letters
  • Note-taking in meetings
  • Supporting new work applications – inputting data onto various systems
  • Monitoring monthly contributions on cases and issuing standard letters as required
  • Chasing required information and documentation by telephone

 

What we're looking for

We don’t expect you to have experience in insolvency – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

  • Interested in working in a professional services environment
  • Curious, empathetic, and motivated to help individuals navigate challenging situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Strong time-keeping skills and able to meet agreed deadlines and time scales
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive financial information
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to handle sensitive conversations professionally
