What you'll do

  • Support experienced colleagues in managing personal insolvency cases such as bankruptcies, Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), and Debt Relief Orders (DROs).
  • Assist in managing and organising incoming emails and phone calls, ensuring timely, professional, and empathetic responses.
  • Draft and send correspondence to support client engagement, including arranging appointments and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate client and creditor records, ensuring all case files are up to date and compliant.
  • Communicate with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders, often supporting individuals through sensitive financial situations.
  • Gather financial information, review documentation, and assist in preparing reports to support case progression and decision-making.
  • Support clients through the insolvency process with clear communication and professionalism.
  • Develop a strong understanding of personal insolvency processes and legislation through hands-on experience and supported learning.

 

What we're looking for

We don’t expect you to have experience in insolvency – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

  • Interested in working in a professional services or advisory environment
  • Curious, empathetic, and motivated to help individuals navigate challenging situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive financial information
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident using IT systems
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to handle sensitive conversations professionally
  • GCSE Maths and English (grade 4–9 or equivalent)
