Role overview

The FP&A Executive will be a key member of the newly established Group FP&A function, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis across the business. This role will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting, helping drive data-led decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis, and board level presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support group budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with finance business partners to gather and challenge assumptions.
  • Build, maintain and improve financial models to assist scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to develop KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking, investigating variances and underlying drivers.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment decisions and strategic projects.
  • Support financial due diligence process for M&A activity.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance accuracy and automate reporting.

 

Skills & qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar financial analysis role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including complex formulas and Power Query.
  • Experience in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous
