As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and professional impression to colleagues and visitors. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly will help you excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the front desk and acting as the first point of contact
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring a warm, professional welcome
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Managing the car park and visitor access
  • Directing enquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
  • Supporting clerical tasks such as data entry and filing
  • Monitoring building security and reporting concerns to senior staff
  • Assisting with planning and coordinating small events
