Andrew is a Partner based in our Salisbury office. He specialises in restructuring, corporate and personal insolvency, with extensive experience in administrations, liquidations, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs), independent business reviews and personal insolvency engagements. He works with clients across all sectors, with a particular focus on retail, construction, e-commerce, care homes and other CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulated entities.
Andrew has over 15 years of experience working alongside secured creditors, lenders and private equity firms to protect value, execute effective restructuring strategies and maximise outcomes for creditors, often working on high profile engagements. He also works closely with management teams and HMRC to successfully negotiate time to pay arrangements and stabilise distressed businesses.
His recent cases include acting as joint administrator of a care home and supported living group, achieving a sale of the business and assets, preserving 800 jobs and maintaining services for approximately 700 vulnerable individuals. He was also joint administrator of Worcester Warriors, a professional rugby club, and joint receiver over the stadium and shares in the company holding the associated development land.
He was a key member of the advisory team on the pre-pack administration of a large camera rental business with 10 secured creditors, resulting in the preservation of approximately 150 jobs. He acted as joint receiver over the intellectual property of a technology business and various shareholdings on behalf of a private equity firm.
He is a member of the IPA’s (Insolvency Practitioners Association) regulatory committee. He is a Chartered Accountant and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
