Danny is a Director based in our Hull office and is part of the Financial Advisory team. He specialises in commercial finance, secured and unsecured lending, with extensive experience in securing invoice finance, asset-based lending, crowdfunding, loan and equity funds, and navigating government schemes.
Danny has more than 20 years’ experience in the finance sector, supporting businesses by raising finance for a range of purposes, including working capital, capital equipment, and expansion. He works closely with professional introducers and advisers to assist businesses with commercial finance across a wide range of scenarios, from growth funding to restructuring. He has detailed knowledge of the commercial funding market and a strong network of lenders to support each assignment.
Prior to joining BTG, Danny gained senior-level experience at a Big Four bank in the Humber region, supporting businesses with their funding requirements.
He holds the Certificate in Business Banking and Conduct (Cert BB&C).

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
