Dominik is a Partner based in our Southend office. He specialises in corporate insolvency and restructuring, with extensive experience across all sectors, including hospitality, recruitment, construction and general building. He advises and undertakes restructuring work within the not-for-profit and charity sectors.
He also advises individuals on their personal financial position with a view of entering an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) and acts as trustee in bankruptcy.
Dominik has over 27 years of experience supporting businesses with complex insolvency procedures, including administrations, liquidations and Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs). His recent cases include the administration of a major construction company and the CVA of a construction company with ongoing litigation claims. He also worked on securing a CVA rescue for a chain of restaurants out of administration.
He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
