Gary is a Partner based in our London office. He specialises in business restructuring and turnaround, with extensive experience in complex restructuring assignments across the social housing, residential development, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and leisure sectors.
Gary has over 25 years of experience supporting his client base, which includes clearing banks, asset-based lenders (ABLs), private equity houses, solicitors and peer-to-peer lenders.
Recent cases include the administration and sale of a well-known nationwide high street retailer and the build-out and sale via administration of a complex London residential development site with listed building status. He also acted as the nominee and supervisor in the successful Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVA) of two nationwide housing associations.
He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
