Greg is a Partner based in our London office. He specialises in debt advisory and corporate finance, with extensive experience in capital management, venture debt/capital, private equity, corporate and leveraged debt, complex capital structuring and asset backed lending. He is regularly appointed in matters where complex capital structuring is needed and a deep understanding of the options available in the debt markets. He has FCA-regulated status. Greg has experience in a range of debt advisory mandates, including M&A, leveraged/management buyouts, asset backed lending, corporate refinancings, structured financing and situations where more nuanced capital structures are required.
Greg has over 15 years of experience, during which he has executed over 75 transactions, raised over £2 billion in capital and built a deep understanding of debt markets, banking relationships and complex financial instruments. He leverages this knowledge to help clients optimise capital structures, raise debt financing and navigate challenging market conditions. Throughout his career, Greg has assisted in raising debt and bespoke capital for his clients across a range of sectors and business lifecycles, in the UK and Ireland, Europe, the US, Asia, Australia and Africa. He has also completed a number of transactions in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
Greg began his career as an economist at two Big Four firms, later working at a bulge bracket bank within the debt structuring team. Following this, he moved to a multinational financial and risk advisory firm to set up the debt advisory team, working on a range of highly complex European transactions. He was then an integral part of the private equity debt advisory team at a Big Four firm, where he also led the venture debt service offering.
