Himesh is a Director within the Funding and Insurance division at BTG, specialising in the structuring of complex insurance programmes for property‑led businesses. His expertise spans investors, developers, funds and family offices across a wide range of sectors, including residential, industrial, offices, hotels, student accommodation and co‑living.
With a holistic approach to risk throughout the lifecycle of a project, Himesh advises from pre‑acquisition—covering land and title considerations—through the planning stage, including rights of light and judicial review matters. He continues to support clients through development, handling contractors’ all‑risks and liability issues, and into the operational phase post‑completion.
Himesh brings over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined BTG following its acquisition of Mantra Capital Group, where he launched Mantra Insurance. Prior to this, he worked within the global real estate and construction team at a major independent insurance brokerage in the City of London.
He holds the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII).

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
