Learn more about Jack Clitheroe
Jack is a Partner and Regional Head of Disputes of our Forensic and Risk Advisory division, he is based in our Manchester office. He specialises in forensic assignments including, quantification of losses, business interruption, contentious business valuations, commercial disputes, transaction disputes, investigations into fraud allegations and other financial irregularities.
Jack has over 15 years of experience and is regularly appointed in matters relating to loss of profits claims, contract disputes, transaction disputes and contentious valuations. His recent instructions include conducting an expert determination and quantifying losses as a result of alleged breaches of contract in a dispute between a major retailer and one of its suppliers.
Jack also has experience delivering training to legal and finance professionals on his areas of expertise in the UK and Europe.
Prior to joining BTG, Jack spent 11 years at a Big Four accounting firm. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the ICAEW.

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
