Jamie is a Partner based in our Southend office. He specialises in corporate and personal insolvency and restructuring, with extensive experience supporting businesses across all sectors, particularly construction. He also acts as a Trustee in Bankruptcy and as supervisor of IVAs for high-profile individuals, bringing substantial expertise to complex cases.
His recent engagements include supporting a major construction firm with turnover exceeding £300 million and advising a major M&E (mechanical and electrical) contractor with a £200 million turnover.
He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA).

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
