Learn more about Julian Lucas
Julian is a Director in our Commercial Property Management team, based in the Peterborough office. He has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial property management and agency, overseeing a portfolio of management instructions across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
He has extensive experience managing mixed commercial property portfolios, with particular expertise in sales, lettings and acquisitions. Julian currently manages a diverse range of assets on behalf of retained clients, including multi-tenanted office blocks, business parks and retail schemes. His work encompasses service charge administration and advising clients on development strategies to support effective estate management. He has also advised on new build development schemes, including a 15-acre office development at Compass Point Business Park, St Ives.
Prior to joining BTG Eddisons, Julian acted as director at Barker Storey Matthews, which was acquired by BTG. He is a Chartered Surveyor with deep expertise in the Cambridgeshire commercial property market.

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
