Kate is a Director based in our Manchester office. She is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in healthcare property valuations and strategic advisory, with extensive experience across care homes, private hospitals, children's day nurseries, pharmacies, dental practices and GP surgeries throughout the North and Midlands.
Kate has over 20 years’ experience delivering specialist valuation services to banks, private clients and corporate healthcare operators. She leads healthcare valuations, providing RICS-compliant valuations and strategic advice across all healthcare sub-sectors. Her expertise encompasses both traditional care homes and specialist facilities, supporting clients with acquisition strategies, portfolio management and funding requirements.
Prior to joining BTG, Kate spent nearly 15 years at a global commercial real estate services provider and a leading UK business selling agent, gaining healthcare knowledge as an associate director. She holds a degree in Urban Land Economics and Real Estate from Sheffield Hallam University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
