Martin is a Director based in our Peterborough office, serving as Regional Valuations Director for the East. He specialises in real estate valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews and general property consultancy, managing the eastern valuation team across the East Midlands and East Anglia for diverse clients, including banks, lenders, local authorities, pension funds and publicly listed companies.
He has extensive experience providing comprehensive valuation and strategic advisory services across all commercial property sectors. His work encompasses secured lending valuations, landlord and tenant negotiations, lease advisory matters and consultancy services, delivering authoritative advice to institutional and private clients. Martin also acts as panel manager for BTG Eddisons, managing lender and panel relationships on a national basis, ensuring consistent service delivery and strategic client partnerships.
Martin joined BTG Eddisons in 2019, following BTG’s acquisition of Barker Storey Matthews, where he was a director and shareholder, leading the professional team. He is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), RICS registered valuer, and was previously appointed to the RICS eastern board, demonstrating his commitment to professional standards and industry leadership.

In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
