Learn more about Nicholas Rymer

Nick is a Director based in our Leeds office, leading the national Architectural services department. He specialises in design, contract administration and project management across commercial and retail projects, with extensive experience acting as CDM principal designer and delivering full RIBA staged drawings for construction schemes nationwide.

He has over 30 years' experience in the construction and design industry, managing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating UK-wide projects. His work encompasses technical design, space planning, budget preparation, value engineering and stakeholder collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Nick has successfully delivered high profile retail fit-outs for major brands and luxury retailers, alongside diverse commercial projects across multiple sectors, consistently meeting project briefs and budgets while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Prior to joining, Nick gained experience in senior roles, including contracts manager, at retail and commercial fit-out and refurbishment firms. He also acted as director of an architectural and building surveying firm and has extensive self-employed experience in retail design and building surveying. He holds a degree in Building Surveying from Leeds Metropolitan University and professional qualifications, including CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
