Learn more about Paul Barber
Paul is a Partner based in our Manchester office. He specialises in corporate insolvency, business restructuring and turnaround, including insolvent deceased estates. He has extensive experience across the motor retail, property, charities, and care sectors. He is the lead Partner in the North for the BTG team handling the Charity Commission’s panel of interim manager appointments.
Paul has 35 years of experience delivering corporate insolvency and business turnaround solutions. He was recently appointed as trustee in bankruptcy over a complex bankruptcy estate with numerous ongoing litigation matters, including cross-border litigation in Israel. He acted as interim manager of an animal rescue charity which involved a solvent wind down of the charity with the successful rehoming of animals.
He acted as chair of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals’ (R3) North West committee.
Prior to joining BTG, Paul gained experience at a world-renowned professional services consultancy. Paul is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and holds a degree in land Management and a master’s in Business Administration.
