Paul is a Partner based in our London office. He specialises in SME insolvency and restructuring, with extensive experience in supporting owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors, including retail.

Paul has over 25 years of experience supporting distressed SMEs, recently acting as administrator of a software, watch-repair and US-based software company, focusing on stabilising operations, preserving value, securing an advantageous result for stakeholders and maximum creditor returns.

Prior to joining BTG, Paul founded his own chartered accountancy and insolvency practice. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

BTG secures sale of broadcast equipment firm supplying the World Cup in accelerated acquisition

BTG has advised on the accelerated acquisition of ES Broadcast Hire Limited by Rcapital Partners LLP as part of a wider restructuring process of its parent company ES Media Group. The BTG team, led by Felix Connolly, partner in Financial Advisory and M&A at the group, completed the deal for the sale of ES Broadcast Hire to Rcapital on 6 July 2026, after Watford-based ES Media Group approached BTG for advice on its options following cashflow and HMRC pressure.
