Robert is a Partner based in our London office. He specialises in restructuring, financial advisory, with extensive experience in options reviews, contingency planning, special situations M&A and corporate insolvencies in the mid-market arena and across the leisure, hospitality, financial services and real estate sectors.
Robert has over 12 years of experience in business restructuring, handling stressed and distressed situations, leading financial advisory and turnaround workstreams, and acting as administrator in complex insolvencies.
He recently acted as lead administrator of a leading gardening products retailer with over one million customers. He led the preparation of the Enzen Global relevant alternative report and financial review, leading to the successful sanctioning of the restructuring plan. He also worked on detailed contingency planning and the orderly wind down via administration of a national facade and glazing business.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

The Trump administration has replaced the reciprocal tariffs regime that was struck down by the Supreme Court with a non-discriminatory tariff tool, shifting tariff risk to a more uncertain carve-out-driven framework. In this new regime, the UK’s prior relative advantage for non-exempt goods is no longer assured and outcomes depend on sector carve-outs, product mix and enforcement.
