Simon is a Partner based in our London office. He specialises in corporate and personal insolvency and restructuring, with extensive experience handling contentious insolvency matters involving litigation. He has expertise in the hospitality, construction, charity and media sectors, and advises a range of stakeholders including directors, creditors, shareholders, banks and other financial institutions.
Simon has over 15 years of experience, and he is regularly appointed in liquidations with contentious investigative elements, solvent liquidations with complex asset classes and pre-pack administrations.
He was recently appointed as liquidator of a UK subsidiary of a large US private investment firm facing accusations of fraud, seeking to recover cross-border assets. Other recent work includes acting as liquidator for a large buying group with complex debt recovery and acting for prominent companies in the film and media sectors.
Prior to joining BTG, Simon gained experience at a global credit insurance and debt collection firm. He is a Chartered Accountant and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
