Kevin is a Director based in our Edinburgh office. He specialises in personal insolvency in Scotland, with extensive experience in Debt Arrangement Schemes (DAS), Sequestration, and Protected Trust Deeds. He also works across corporate insolvency, with experience across hospitality, construction, and retail.
Kevin has over 20 years of experience acting as Trustee in Sequestrations, via both debtor applications and creditor petitions, and handling the winding up of deceased insolvent estates. He recently acted as Joint Administrator of an iconic Scottish hotel, leading the successful sale of the seventh-generation business as part of a £3 million rescue deal. He also handled the administration and subsequent sale of an independent gin and whisky distillery in Scotland as a going concern.
Prior to joining BTG, Kevin acted as a personal insolvency adviser at a multinational audit, tax, and advisory practice, before acting as a licensed Insolvency Practitioner at a growing personal and corporate insolvency specialist in Scotland. Kevin is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and holds the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI).
