Nimesh Sanghrajka

Nimesh is a Managing Director of our Funding and Insurance division, based in Dubai. He takes the lead in building and maintaining client and professional relationships, as well as focusing on revenue growth and generation for the business.

Nimesh works with both domestic and internationally based families, business owners, asset managers and funds requiring tailored debt finance and insurance solutions secured against UK-based businesses and real estate.

Nimesh has a mature, global network of clients and professionals. He has a successful track record of delivering bespoke funding solutions for some of the most distinguished entrepreneurial families around the world. He has a strong and detailed understanding of the UK lending market and is strategically located in Dubai, giving him the ability to meet international entrepreneurs who have a funding or insurance need in person.

His recent deals include securing a £60 million loan to support a UAE-based alternative asset manager in their UK living sectors strategy, and a £45 million loan to support the restructure of one of the UK’s largest private equity-backed dental businesses. Other deals include securing £18 million in residential property refinance for a Bombay Stock Exchange-listed company, and a £27 million loan for a portfolio of branded and unbranded hotels on behalf of a private family with operations in Nairobi and London.

He is a former board member of the Asian Business Association at the London Chamber of Commerce and a former trustee at a multi-academy trust responsible for a family of schools.

Prior to joining BTG, Nimesh gained experience at a leading independent UK bank, where he operated as senior commercial banking director, before co-founding Mantra Group, an award-winning debt advisory boutique acquired by BTG in 2022.
