We are a people business, where knowledge and expertise are valued. We are committed to empowering our colleagues by supporting them through learning and development opportunities aligned to their future aims and career goals.
Our approach is centred around a concept that everyone has talent, and this is brought to life through our commitment to provide ongoing career and personal development opportunities for all. By strengthening individual knowledge, we can harness these newly honed skills and understandings to support our organic growth ambitions and unleash the potential of our colleagues.
We have a strong track record of supporting and encouraging our colleagues to gain profession qualifications. In the past year alone over 110 of our colleagues have gained accreditation in areas such as accountancy – (AAT, ACA, ACCA) insolvency (CPI, JIEB), banking (LIBF), cryptocurrency, taxation, and surveying (RICS).
At BTG, every colleague owns their own growth and chooses to give their talents to the business. By creating the right conditions, colleagues can perform to their best, be themselves, and advocate for others to be part of our team.
I’ve recently passed my JIEB and I received great support from the business, both in the final stages of study and also getting exposure to work on a variety of cases to expand my knowledge. I’m now really excited to help the next generation and welcome several new apprentices to our team, it will be great to see them now develop their careers with us.
Mark Weekes, Senior Insolvency Manager
